This Nevada based family bought a 4 bed/3 bath multi-level condo in Park City to escape the Vegas heat in the Summer & enjoy the Park City Winter fun. The client’s requests were to gain at least one additional bathroom, another place for guests to sleep, and to eliminate an awkward coat closet floating in the living room/stair entry.
Design Solution
We relocated the laundry room to the basement/family area and combined it with a bathroom to create a lower level bathroom for guest. We then took the space from the previous laundry room and were able to create an En-Suite bathroom as well as a Powder Room, resulting in a total of 4.5 bathrooms with 4 bedrooms & additional room for guests on a murphy bed in the lower level. We updated the floors, kitchen cabinets and appliances. The fireplace was redesigned, stair rails updated, every bathroom was reworked, new furnishings & lighting were added, resulting in a marvellous modern mountain retreat.
